The Orange (TX) CVB looks to boat races to drive tourism.

It’s the Fifth Annual “Shootout on the Sabine.”

DMOs take the lead in destination development. Most recent example? Augusta tourism leaders proposing a golf cart ordinance for their downtown.

The personal transportation vehicles would help transport visitors.

CVBs continue to host annual luncheons to boast about their impacts on the community economy. Consider Cincinnati’s annual meeting with a local band or Marion, Ohio’s, tamer Tourism Breakfast.

Oldies but goodies… Lansing (MI) with the latest version of Be A Tourist In Your Own Yard and Kenosha (WI) with their spin on a photo contest.
