We shared with you the five reasons to implement email into your marketing plan. But what do you write about? Our creative staff has drafted a calendar to help theme your emails and promotions:
RV Park Year Content Calendar:
January – our resolutions for the park (new things in the park) for the next year
February – around the love theme… You’re Going to LOVE These 10 Reasons to Reserve Your Space
March – around the luck theme… You’re so Lucky to Hear About These 5 New Changes at The Park
April – spring, new beginnings… Spring Has Sprung and So Have These 3 New Changes at The Park
May – promote the area. List the area attractions, museums, activities, festivals and events.
June – promote the summer activities. Seasonal attractions, festivals and events.
July – All American Offers to Veterans
August – End of Summer; Last Minute Getaway
September – Back to School-teach the Tips for RV Park Etiquette
October – promote fall foliage tours
November – say Thank You to your customers
December – offer wishes for a Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year (know your customer as to whether “Merry Christmas” or “Happy Holiday” is appropriate. Don’t assume and send a blanket message.)
Mix and match. Change ’em. But at least there’s a start for you. And see, email subjects can be rather simple.
