The fifth annual “Consumer Views of Email Marketing” report from Mapp Digital is released. It found that 98 percent of consumers ages 18-64 check the email address where they receive marketing emails at least one to three times per day, while 28 percent say they check email between four and 10 times a day. A total of 32.9 percent of respondents said that they check in on their email actively throughout the day. People are more connected than ever to their email accounts, and that means brands are staying connected to them through the channel, according to a new report. “Email marketing is still very relevant to brands, specifically for the hard-to-reach 18- to 34-year-old audience,” Mapp Digital CEO Mike Biwer said in a statement.
